THE HEAT NETWORK WAS FOUNDED IN 2001 BY A GROUP OF AMBITIOUS STUDENTS. EARLY ON, ONLY SEVERAL STUDENT-RUN SHOWS EXISTED TO CONTRAST DEPARTMENTAL CLASSES. SINCE THEN, THE ORGANIZATION HAS GROWN IN SIZE TO BECOME THE HEAT NETWORK KNOWN TODAY.

The HEAT Network family is built upon mutual appreciation of the television medium. We accept all members, from all schools of Hofstra, to join in producing first-rate content. Each year, our member base grows larger thanks to our dedication to this idea.
HEAT is nothing without its members. Our student base inspires creativity and quality content without the expectation of grades. HEAT and the LHSC offers the resources to make television magic, but it is up to you to forge the content that makes this Network great.
